SEAcrets – Monoprints and Collages on Authentic Nautical Charts
In this new series, SEAcrets, I combine the techniques of gel printing and collage to create unique works that invite viewers on a visual journey of discovery. Each artwork begins with a gel print—a monoprint created through the layering of color and texture. Every piece is a one-of-a-kind original, as each print can only be used once, making it truly unique.
Authentic nautical charts—gifts from passionate sailors—serve as more than just the background for these collages. They act as an emotional anchor, connecting my works to the world of the sea, navigation, and travel. For me, SEAcrets is an exploration of the allure of the unknown, the thrill of discovery, and the fascination with what lies beneath the surface.
These works are available in various sizes—currently 21 x 21 cm and 28 x 28 cm, with larger formats coming soon.
